Take a peek inside the treatment area at Superior Animal Hospital. Here, our medical team carries out a variety of procedures, such as administering vaccines, dental cleanings, and pre-surgical preparation.

Proper dental care is not limited to human medicine. Pets need dental care too!

One way we effectively prevent disease and illness is in the exam room, where we perform comprehensive, nose-to-tail physical examinations. The sooner we catch signs of concern, the sooner we can begin treatment for a healthier and happier pet.

Wellness exams are the cornerstone of preventative veterinary medicine. Our trained veterinary professionals recommend scheduling at least one wellness visit for your pet a year.

A veterinary technician examines a sample using a microscope in our on-site diagnostic laboratory. We are able to perform urinalysis, parasite testing, fungal cultures, blood work, and much more.

An assessment of the eyes is just one small part of a comprehensive wellness exam at Superior Animal Hospital. Here, Dr. Robert McClellan checks for unusual coloration, discharge, and other abnormalities.

The title was presented by the Superior Douglas Chamber of Commerce for our many years of service, community involvement, and commitment to providing our fellow neighbors and their pets with superior veterinary services. Our practice has served the local community since 1979, and there is nowhere else we’d rather call home.

Our services include wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, boarding, grooming, microchipping, health and travel certificates, laser therapy, chemotherapy, X-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, parasite testing and prevention, dental, general, and advanced surgery including spay and neuter, cherry eye repairs, oncology surgery, ACL reconstruction, TPLO surgery, pain management, and more! We are open six days a week and look forward to meeting you and your pet!
