Danville's historical society is all about celebrating heritage by placing historical plaques on local buildings throughout the town, and the building that houses our local J.McLaughlin store even received a special plaque in 2017. When in town, the local farmers' market is a great place to be on Saturday mornings.. Bridges is located in downtown Danville, known for being home to filming the 1993 hit film Mrs. Doubtfire starring the late, great Robin Williams. Beyond the silver screen, Norm's is a popular "watering hole" with great food and plenty of craft beers on tap.
