Sahni Heart Center is a state-of-the-art cardiology, interventional cardiology and vascular medicine practice in Clark and Red Bank, New Jersey, where the health and well-being of patients always come first. We also proudly serve the counties of Monmouth, Union, Ocean, Middlesex, and Woodbridge Township. For over 40 years, Rakesh Sahni, MD, has served the community with exceptional comprehensive cardiovascular care. Joined by his daughter in 2017, together they provide a full range of services. Both physicians are board certified and specialize in cardiology as well as interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography, vascular medicine, and endovascular interventions. Along with their team, they are delighted to be caring for the heart health of men and women. 

Dr. Sheila Sahni studied at Georgetown University Medical Center, where she learned to embrace the Jesuit philosophy of "Cura Personalis," which means caring for the whole person. The team at Sahni Heart Center abides by this philosophy and practices medicine using the same principles. They take time to understand the challenges patients and their families can face in obtaining optimal heart health, and invest in each patient’s health.
