The Swinging Bridge is named after a local iron swing bridge, built c1892 and located next to the famous Barton Aqueduct which carries the Bridgewater Canal over the Manchester ship canal - a true industrial wonder from a bygone time! Today, we serve delicious, freshly cooked pub food to a relaxed crowd of locals and regulars. Our first class service and excellent value makes us ideal for family days out, as does our promixity to the Trafford Centre and Legoland - we hope to see you soon!
